Eh, it was more like 8 and half hours.
Part-Time Punks was a mixed bag of tricks. Many bands played and not all could be seen, because nobody can be in two places at once. But damn if I didn’t try.
4:09 p.m.
Arrive a few hours late to the Echoplex. Is it vogue to blame the fires? Guy on sidewalk says he just wants tickets. Informs my friend he followed the Dead for a few years, just wants some change. Then he yells, “Punk’s not dead. Got any weed?”

I first must say that this review will be completely biased. Not only is this magnificent piece of music my personal handbook for songwriting guideance, but it is my most cherished album, surpassing even the pillows’ Fool on the Planet or maudlin of the Well’s Bath (granted, these are all completely different albums). There is simply no flaw to this album, and Lord Uematsu’s execution of classical, jazz, flamenco, ambient, piano music, and other styles.
