Not really. In the rules it's clearly stated that the wearer of the bracelets has all rights to refuse the task the bracelets signify.

Oh gawd, I hated those LIVESTRONG things. A large percentage of chavs wore those as a fashion accessory, disregarding any cause (the Russian Mafia) that may be involved.
