Image Board Suggestion

Is it possible to upload an image by pasting a URL into the upload field?

I remember trying this a while back, and I don't think it worked.

It isn't possible with the current system. I've been toying with the idea of writing a new imageboard integrated with the forums (no idea if this will be finished, but since it won't be a huge project there's a chance it'll happen), and if I do that, this would be a feature.
