I'm sticking this because I really feel it should get more attention than it does.

I saw the other day some people wondering why we've had that same marquee line for ages, and while I made a few comments that got some positive feedback, no other attention was paid to it.

So here was my idea for a new one:
"Being an active member of Anfiniti significantly reduces the amount of fail in your system."
Kinda long, I know, but humourous... no?

And here's one mentioned by Link:
"Anfiniti- now with 100% more Link!"
while newcomers wouldn't get it much, it's still amusing.

Again, sticky-ing this because it'd be nice if it were actually changed up every once in awhile.

I was thinking the same thing, seeing as how it's the second little tidbit of the forum home page that always seems to change.

I don't know if it's just me, or if it's the lameness of the quotes, but I think, sometimes the little "quotes" get a little old. Maybe they should be changed more often, or at least constructed a little better, but they get quite old.

...Just like the sentence-choice of this post. >.>

Would there be any worry for horizontal scrollbars if there shout be an obnoxiously long quote as the title? =p

I'm not sure. I don't think we've ever tried it. I guess we could try it now. To be honest, the thought of an oversized shoutobx title never crossed my mind.

My guess is that it will be two+ lines tall, so long as it isn't one massive string of text with no spacing.

Yeah, Reku, just tested it. It just puts it on multiple lines. Only way it wouldn't is if we put something like nowrap="nowrap" in the shoutbox's header.

Besides, shoutbox titles should be concise, and never take up more than one line anyway.
