It's strange how Final Fantasy VIII doesn't sit in any of the aforementioned 'bests', yet there's no doubt in my mind that it's my favourite. I suppose that I consider it to be such a well-rounded game that I can't really pick specific segments that I prefer above others.

My Favorite
Final Fantasy VII
An unoriginal choice, but this game dominated my life. It's lucky I bought the game in the first place, I just felt an urge to - and I knew nothing at all about it before-hand. All I could recall about it was an image of a cool looking cat on a giant pink dinosaur, and a 10/10 score from a games magazine. The first few hours of the game bored me immensely. And only after forcing myself through one night, having heard the tale of Sephiroth in Kalm, did I realise how damn epic this game was.
