I already have a livejournal, and then there's myspace--but maybe a journal for anfiniti would be cool. It's just a subforum with threads created by anfiniti members, where their friends can comment on. Just an idea, I dunno how fond anyone would be about setting this up tho.

I could see myself getting into this. Although, I would most likely be plugging my site more than anything else. WORDPRESS! Sooooooooooo fun. [/sarcasm] But I'm not being sarcastic about the journal part.

I can see myself making comments, its all good. :p
I don't know how many members would get into it as there's a lack of activity to begin with. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try as I'd feel more comfortable sharing a journal with you guys on here than say, stupid myspace. <<;

I concur.
Also, the thing about myspace is that people who aren't your friends can comment and report anything they dislike about your entries--freedom of speech is non-existent.

Well, I know I wouldn't use it. But if you guys want it, sure. =p

I say whoever will use it request a sub forum under Journals named to them. If they don't post, it gets deleted. Otherwise, I think it's fine. Though you all should try Xanga or something like that for blogs.

I like Kyuuketsuki's idea.

I'm sure it would be cool just in the beginning, then after people got bored, it would have to be deleted, so IMO, I think that it shouldn't even be made...again.

I didn't even know anfiniti had journals before..so what is the activity requirement? There is only like 10 people on this site at the same time, so what's the minimum required to get this back up again?
A subforum labeled 'journals' with threads of members journals would be nice. Some can even choose to share a thread if its something specific. Like "Dream Journal"= where everyone can post their dreams in one thread and analyze them, for example.

I'm game. Honestly, I miss the journal I had on Anime Outlook. I remember a great deal of the regulars using them as well. I think if the journals were better known, they'd be put to better use.

As riveting as having an e-journal sounds: no.
Why? It'd be no different from a blog or your MySpace, really.

Yeah, and people are like "HEY THIS IS GREAT YAYAYAYA- *2 seconds later* -I have a journal? really?"

A shame that also applies to the majority of things we have around here.

We've had it a few times before, actually and they've all lost activity after a bit. Even the sharing journal bit as it'd just be like anyother thread. Xanga, live journal, dead journal, ect are some options too like Kyuu said. They're cutomizaable to.

So they won't be active, half the forums on this board aren't active, I don't see them getting removed?
