A lot of people don't like this game, I know. But still, I find it to be an awesome, wonderful, and adventerous game. I would really like to know what you all think of this game, be it bad or good. Go for it!! Tell me what it is about the game that you love or hate.

I like this game...the battle system is great and the change chars in the mid of battle made the game very easy...the graphics rocks and I like the story 10/10 to this game

I don't know many people that actually have the right to say that they don't like it. Most of those people have only played for a few minutes or so... so they really have no justification. I liked this game a lot, and it's been the only FF I have been playing lately. The turn-based system is a nice change from the good ol' ATB style. The characters are pretty well developed (though some people have problems with Tidus). Overall I think it's one of the better games I've played but X-2 seemed somewhat lacking in my opinion.

I didn't care too much for the characters, myself. Tidus came off as an annoying, whiny teenager; Auron appeared to be the product of Squaresoft trying to make an OMG COOL BADASS character; Rikku was also annoying, hyper, and jumpy. While some of the personalities may not be bad, in a sense, I still didn't enjoy them.
For the battle system, I actually liked that one. Instead of having to quickly press buttons to get things done before the enemy, you could think about and plan strategies during the battle. Since I'm a fan of tactical systems, I enjoyed this.
Also, I'm moving this to the Square-Enix board, for fairly obvious reasons.

I can't really stand this game. I got quite far into it too btw before you say I'm dissing it for no reason. Actually I hated it from the start but I played it anyway to see where it'd go.
I did find that I loved the battle system.
The characters.. I hated them. Except the Thundercats wannabe.. I can't remember his name, but he was cool.

I really enjoyed this game especially from the difference of the mini-games. from battling it out with cards all the way to a futuristic sport under water (which i never understood how they could hold their breath so long without an aqualung...). I also liked the characters. they were very fitting with the story.

The characters fitted with the story, but the story was bland and vague.
"Hey you guys, let's go follow a phoney religion and kill a hugeassed whale."
"Sure, we'll call it Final Fantasy X."
The end.
I enjoyed the battle system. Turn based returned, which I was pleased to see - it allows for more tactical play. A lot of replay value through the Monster Arena and Dark Aeons/Penance for us lucky PAL region players. The Sphere Grid was innovative, but ultimately irritating. I much prefer manual levelling, FFVII and FFIX style. Not like FFVIII (Level 100 in an hour).
I'm not going to be really cool by saying 'omg, auron is teh best', because he isn't. Masamune is a useless weapon against armoured opponents. His limit breaks are useless bar one, and character depth wise, he fails (Like most of the others).

I enjoyed playing Final Fantasy X, one of my favorite games. The battle system was great, but I didn't really like the Sphere Grid system. The characters went with the game and so did the voice acting (even if people found Tidus to be annoying). The mini games are fun as well, especially Blitzball, which was addicting to me.
I loved Final Fantasy X. Something in the mood created by the characters, setting and the music. Final Fantasy X-2 ruined it all with super pop mode and screwing the characters' personalities.
