This game will be a major milestone in Anfiniti history, with cameos from numerous members, appearances of Shin-Ra characters. Made by Anfiniti members, for Anfiniti members. It will be created in RPG Maker XP, using resources made by Anfiniti members, some of you will be in here because you're contributing to the game, some of you will be full members of the development team. I look forward to working with you people on something we can all be proud of, something we can have fun building and playing, and when release day comes, we'll truely be in the limelight.

So what's the background story here? Not sure how much I'll be able to contribute, but with any luck, it'll be "something". LOL.
General Outline
Noble Blood: War of the Roses
This game will be set in a semi-medieval atmosphere, with a similar technology level to the game Final Fantasy IX. The plot revolves around an ex-gang member; Carver. Carver is on the run from his old gang, having been busted consorting with the leader’s sister in a hotel room. The game opens on a boat, as Carver is fleeing from his hometown, he reflects on the events that led up to his departure. The black and white flashbacks show the moment when was busted, and his fall from the hotel room window, as he’s lying in a pool of blood he is rescued by a friend, his only friend, someone he grew up with on the streets. The scene fades out to a small dark room, Carver is lying in a bed, and the friend comes down stairs to check on him, they talk for awhile and decide that getting him out of town, out of the country would be the best option.
Eventually, Carver arrives in Port Breeyar, a small costal village that thrives on trade and fishing. After exchanging a few words with the captain of the ship, comes ashore and books into the local inn. While resting up in the Inn, he decides to try to make a new life for himself as a man for hire. On his travels he finds himself slowly drawn into the conflict that rages between the three continent, and has to make many difficult decisions along the way. He meets new friends and enemies, and eventually is forced to choose a side in a world wide war, with his moral and ethical directly changing the face of the world.

They're pretty good Aaron, I think we should do some dialog play to flesh 'em out a bit, Dialog play is pretty much like RP, but just the dialog. Basically ya get the characters in a situation, and see how they react to each other and to their surroundings. :p

Hmm, I'm up for doing concept art and custom Anfiniti characters.
Ah, that's excellent, would you like to be added to the development team as a Graphic Artist?

Well after looking through the Dev Team positions I think I could any of these decently:
Event Programmer
Programmer (I'm not quite sure what this entails however)
Graphics Artist
Script Writer
Character Concepts
I'd try Composer but It would take me far too long to make something because of my little experience and my need to make perfection. >_< It would take a month for a song.
Graphic Artists are currently the most needed aspect of the Dev Team, without characters, our RPG cannot go ahead.

Yeah, sure thing.

So as a Graphic Designer on the team, I would be drawing the sprites and what not?

Well I can try doing that. I don't know if I'm very good at doing pizel work like that. But can I do some scripting and/or Character concepts as well?

Sorry to tell ya this now, but we upgraded to a newer template so people would have an easier time making sprites.
Also, I need a few more sprites, 10 or so, NPC's, I don't care if it's just people with switched clothing/heads/hair, and I need an old ship Captian lookin' fella preferably with a pipe in his mouth.

Allright, will do.
Alright, I'm ready to progress to the next stage, but I need those character sprites.
Mit Man

We need more spriters.
You'll be happy to know if you're still doing this, that I'm working on that main character some more. Then I'm gonna hit a bunch of NPC's and whatnot so you can progress further, unless you need the other main characters first.
I can't go on without sprites.

Well, when I finish Carver, should I do some NPC's before the rest of the main characters?
Yeah, a bunch of NPC's would be good, I need a old looking pirate captian, a few saliors, same bodies different heads for the sailors, I don't care, a few dockworkers, and a bunch of generic NPCs for a town.

Pirate sailors? Or just sailors? >.>

Well, finished the second row:

The only thing that has to be changed in the third row from the second row is the hair, which is going to be a challenge, but after I get it the first time it's easy to slightly modify and copy to the other frames in the row.
Fourth row may take awhile, as I'm gonna need a new hairview and to do some serious shading work on the coat's back to get the effect of walking from that angle... All in all, I think Carver'll be finished this weekend.
Excellent work, my friend.

3rd row completed, hair was a little tough but I think it turned out okay:
